Yeah, you read that right.... :nervous:

It`s in the new July 06 issue I just received today.

Anyways, I`ll just cut to the chase, because I know what you`re going to ask ;)

Top 3 Liquids:

1. Black Magic Wet Shine Liquid Wax

2. Turtle Wax Carnauba Car Wax

3. Eagle One Nanowax

Top 3 Pastes:

1. Nu Finish Paste Wax

2. Turtle Wax Platinum Ultra Gloss

3. P21s Carnauba Wax :scared:

I was more than a little surprised with their results, to say the least. Anyways, NXT did horribly, as did Griot`s Best of Show.

However, they did test cleaning ability as part of their ratings, so that could explain the P21s, BUT Black Magic and Turtle Wax both got much higher gloss ratings??

I don`t know about you, but this isn`t gonna make me stop using s100 or Aquawax or Zaino!

They`re testing wax for the average consumer. If they were testing it for professional detailers, you`d see a lot of difference.

Yeah, I know, but they said they tried to include `enthusiast-preferred` products also...

They should`ve used GEPC before the P21s if they wanted to do it right:)

Dude, would you even let Nu Finish touch your car? That`s how much stake i put in CR`s testing.

Shouldn`t souveran be up there?!

I`ve said this a billion times....

CR doesn`t know how to test ANYTHING beside washers and dryers. And maybe lawn mowers.

They bungle their car reviews, and they bungled this wax review, too.

How did they test "gloss" and "shine"? Did they use some kind of meter or something?

Did they test Zaino or Souveran?

They always seem to rate Turtle Wax up there... surprising. Can anyone scan the article and post it up?

The fact that they have Nu Finish as #1 paste wax causes them to lose all credibility :rofl . If they are talking for the "average consumer" i.e. OTC stuff, there are much better products even OTC.

I wonder what would happen if they included some PB Natty Blue, Souveran, Collinite etc and compared to their list lol.

I`ll go and read the article this afternoon, but I`m surprised to hear that Mother`s didn`t make the top 3.

The fact that Nu Finish is ranked above P21S..... makes me laugh.

*** are they thinking? You just can`t "balance" features of a wax to compare them... I suspect Nu-Finish`s long-lasting ability is what caused it to be ranked so high, and not it`s actual look.

Guys, come on, "Nufinish" is their top dog year after year ! Nothing new here. LOL.

They really don`t test a broad array of products and most Autopians will forever frown on the candidates - - whether right or wrong.

Just a thought, is their any proof that Nufinish isn`t the best?
