what manufacturer uses the ppg ceramiclear paint? if you know the models that would be great too.



after experiencing it first hand on a benz there is no way i`m going back to any other kind.

It`s not the Base (paint) but the Clear Coat that is Ceramic (as the name suggests).



You would have to look up on PPG`s Website who`s factories they are supplying or look up which vehicle manufacturers offer it.

Is that the scratch resistant clear? I think VW has been using something like that since 02.

Dupont, Spies Hecker, Glausrit, all of them now have a line of Scratch Resistant Clear Coats. Not sure how they compare (or if they are the one in the same) as the Ceramic Clear that PPG sells.

i believe chrysler and gm I`ve searched but havent seen any model listings.
