Is it ok to leave my pads (and mf towels and a wash mit) in a car soap/water 5 gallon bucket in my garage overnight? I ask because I just took a shower and I`m feeling tired and lazy :)

Sure. It`s actually good to let them soak, particularly the pads. And it certainly won`t hurt the wash mitt.

that answered my question as well, i didnt clean my white lc pollish pad and then used it on my work truck thank god and it dusted the heck out of everything in seconds.

My usual routine is to let pads soak in a bucket of soapy water overnight, but recently I actually completely forgot about them, and they soaked for over a week. When I finally remembered they were still in there, I was expecting a breakdown of the velcro backing at minimum, but, in fact, they were perfectly fine.

I have left them for a week in the bucket, never hurt a thing. My usual process is to spray with 1:6 APC and rinse when I`m done with the entire job or finished for the day.
