Not the best beading shot, but rain seems just to bead then run off during storms. Collinite is good stuff!

A quick question I just thought of, for those who also use Rain-X on their windshields: Does collinite work better at water repelling than Rain-X? Would it be better to put Collinite on the windshield as a water repellant? Rain-X works great, but after seeing pictures of Collinite "in action", Collinite seems to bead even better than Rain-X.

I use Klasse on my windshield ....... I have a lot of Rain-X that I would love to get rid of for next to nothing.

I think that is a week-old application. I`ve forgotten to be perfectly honest. :o

I don`t recommend using anything BUT a good glass cleaner. I`ve found waxes/sealants/QDs all to leave some streaking, not apparent in overcast or rainy days, but on sunny days, especially at dusk. I`ve had some luck with 476s on side/back glass, but on the windshield, I`d use nothing. I suppose you could look into a spray wax to use just before it rains, I`ve had mixed results with OCW on glass.

I have used AIO by itself and with SG on my windshield and have never had any issues with streaking or wiper chatter. Your mileage may vary!
