Well after all the hype about the new werkstatt products i finally gave in and purchased Prime strong and AJ trigger. I didnt have time to give my car a full detail, as you can tell from the pics the weather was getting bad and it was about to rain, so this is how the process went

wash

prime strong with pc at speed 4

let stand for 30-40min

aj trigger *2

i would have preferred to clay the car as well but coudlnt, so the surface is still not as smooth as i prefer but prime strong did make a big difference, it removed alot of the water spots i had and did clean up the surface pretty well, and left a real nice shine

Trigger was easy to use as well, very easy actually and it also added slickness to the surface.

overall i was satisfied with the product and look forward to purchasing caranuba jett as well

n e how, here are the pics of my daily( i know its a pos) but u get the point

durability is yet to be determined, i did have zaino on this car and was pleased on how long it lasted. however i just didnt have time to sit there and mix and measure precious amounts of zfx and z2.

questions , comments?

I haven`t tried Prime Strong yet but based on all the reviews I have seen, it looks like I`d better.

Let us know how well this combo holds up for you. :)

Very nice. Your quick detail looks better than some of the whole day pro details I`ve had. That`s why I`m here now.

I use the Klasse Twins, but when they run out I may try this stuff.

Unfortunately, I haven`t gotten to the AJ part yet. I`m still trying to bust out all the swirls. Eventually (hopefully, this weekend), I`ll put AJ on and follow up with CJ. Depending on how that turns out, I may or may not add another wax on top of that.

If you do use the s100, I`d be curious to know how that turns out...if it added to the look, or maybe took something away from the stand-alone appearance of the Werkstatt system.

only thing i dont like about s100 is that it attracts alot of dust, but the new update today isthat in the sun the car looks even wetter, i dunno weather it was the cure time that increased the wetness or maybe the lighting.

But one thing i do love about prime strong is that i dont have to worry about water spots when drying my car cuz they are all polished away

Hopefully im gonna be detailing my other buick today, nothing speical just wash clay prime strong and aj, im not gonna mess with the tires n such and ill post up pictures of how tha went

thanks, ive learned alot from this forum and if it wasnt for autopia id still be using turtle wax lol

Ive used zaino for a whole year, and its a great product but JW is soooo much easier to use and i can customize the look i want, ex: prime strong and then a caranuba like s100, nattys or sourvearn, you cant do that with zaino without messing with the bonding properties, and not that zaino is expensive, its the shipping that kills you at the end. I mean i got the JW twins for 46dollars shipped to me, thats almost half of the zaino system.

Id buy zaino again if they got rid of their zfx hardner/activator system, just my 2cents

I completely agree with that assessment. I used Zaino exclusively for three years. There`s no doubt it`s nice, but application is cumbersome--having to use the mixing bottles, the ZFX, thoroughly cleaning out the mixing bottles plus it`s more expensive plus it doesn`t have the versatility to mix and match with other product-lines. All that just makes Werkstatt all the more enticing. Only question mark is durability, but I have an intuition..

right, but lets say that JW has less durability then zaino, trigger is just like a qd, would probably take 10 minutes to apply and you got a decent sealant. There is no way you could put on a coat to zaino or n e other sealant for that matter.
