Had a friend bring over his `05 Alabaster Silver RSX for a Spring detail. Process was:

Paint: Wash, Clay, FPII, VM, EXP

Tires: Meg`s Hot Shine

Trim: VM/303

Glass: Meg`s NXT Glass Cleaner/QuikShine

Too bad the sun decided not to cooperate when we got to the lake. Oh well, here they are anyway.

This is one of the nicest and brightest silver colors I`ve ever seen. It finished up so nice and the owner was extremely pleased. The paint was in great shape as he has a pretty good grasp on proper washing techniques/tools. Nothing but sheepskin mitts and waffle weave towels since it was new and it definately shows, making my job easier. I would have loved to have more time with it as a full detail would be fun on this car.

No replies? I really wanted to get some sun shots to show the flake, but it decided to get overcast just as we pulled outof the driveway.

silver is really tough to show off, especially with the over cast.. It looks great I love RSX`s.

He`s planning on topping the EX-P with S100 so I`ll try to get some better pics after that step. My next car will definately be silver!

Looks really wet, nice job on the detail :bigups

I agree that silver is very nice; you get some nice pop and maintaining it is very easy.

It`s a shame Acura will stop making the RSX after 2006 :sadwavey:
