My dads truck has a smoked plastic bug shield and it is really faded. I was wondering if I would just use some plastic polish or some regular paint polish to bring back the shine? Thanks. :dancin

i would probably use the Sonus ...don`t use dacp as it way too harsh and will scratch it..as far as #80:dunno

my parents bug shield had the same problem. i took some 2000 grit sandpaper and let it sit in some soapy water for about 10 minutes. then proceeded to smooth and flatten the surface (don`t worry, no clear coat to cut through;)). Then i took some DACP with my rotary and went to town. I followed it up with SSR1 and then AIO`d it. it looked brand new. unfortuantely my batters were dead at the time i couldn`t take pics to make an article on it:(

I also used AIO on my rotary on a faded license plate cover and it worked really well. I have used 80 then AIO on a bug sheild and it also came out great. Now I just use PlastX.
