We`ve had the usual obscene amount of pollen here in central VA this year but this is the first year I`ve had this particular problem.

When I washed my car yesterday it almost felt as if there was no Zaino left on it. In the past 1.5 months that I`ve owned the car it`s had 2 coats of Z5+ZFX and 3 coats of Z2Pro+ZFX applied. But the rinse water isn`t sheeting off of the hood, top or trunklid like it has in the past.

So, can/does pollen (combined with rainwater) strip or affect Zaino?

Yes.

Despite how strong/durable Zaino is, the pollen can eat it away in very short order, which is why it is a best practice to remove the pollen buildup ASAP, with either a wash, california duster, or spraydown with water. Pollen can be more acidic than bird poo, and combined with (acidic) rainwater, makes for one strong sludge of a wax/paint killer.
