Hi !

I would like to know if swirl remover and glaze is the same thing?

Also , i would like to know, if the step i do for my car is good.

Wash the car

compound with Forecla G3 at 1200 RPM with 3M pad number 05737

wash the car again

3M glaze #39009 at 1800 RPM with 3M pad 05738

wax the car with NXT

I live in Québec Canada, and i don`t know where to buy color pad.

give me your opinion on this please!!!

a glaze fills the swirls with oils to hide them

swirl remover takes off some paint to reveal smooth new looking paint

swirl remover is aggresive....it removes paint

glaze is non abrrasive, it simply fills and hides swirls

you would use the swirl remover first..depending on your technique there may be no need for the glaze, after that use a good wax to keep it nice
