Recently, i conducted my own little experiment on the longevity

of Zaino; specifically Z2Pro. Approx. 4-6 coats were applied to my

paint just before October of last year. Since this past October, the

car has experienced the indiginity of not being washed. The car has

been parked outside and driven just about every day, so it

was exposed to everything a car could be exposed to during

a winter season (rain, snow, salt, bird %&#@, road grime, etc) ...

But no car washing whatsover for that entire time.

When I finally did wash the car last Sunday, under sunlight at certain

angles, you could see that it did get a bit of marring during the season.

Also, the paint no longer had any slickness at all (which I kinda expected).

Even with the marring, I know there`s still something on the paint

because it still has a shimmer to it.

What I am wondering is how do you guys approach dealing with Z2Pro

that is still on the paint. Do you just strip it all down, and start all over?

If not, what do you guys recommend as a followup?

Your feedback is appreciated.

Just like with any other product. Polishing out the marring will remove whatever wax or sealant is on the paint. Then apply LSP of your choice.

Wow, eight months without a wash. I would just strip it and deal with the marring accordingly and reapply the Z especially if it has gone through all that you might even have to clay.
