First up, my Cobra. So far so good with the Cobra. Didn`t need much work. Just wanted to clean it up some after all of the rain and crap we have had lately. I detailed it on Sunday, today just a wash and second coat of Natty`s Blue.

My Process:

--Wash w/Optimum wash

--Clay w/Opti-clay and No Rinse for lube

--Optimum Hyper Compound/Polish (50/50) via Cyclo with Propel green pads

--Werkstatt Prime "Strong" via Cyclo and Cyclo brand white pads

--Sprayed CJ on top of Prime after curing for 30 minutes and removed with a quality MF

--Topped with Natty`s Blue by hand

--Wheels cleaned with TOL`s "gentle" wheel cleaner

--Exhaust tips cleaned with TOL`s "gentle" wheel cleaner and polished with Prime

--Poorboy`s Wheel Sealand applied to wheels and remove with OCW

--QuikShine on all glass

--Tires and trim dressed with Optimum tire shine

Next up, my co-worker MIke and I made a deal. He put my new springs in for me, and I detail his truck. Good trade off in my opinion, or so I thought.

This truck was the hardest truck to clay I have ever run into. I now see the need for more aggressive clay. I couldn`t get the hood "smooth". I did the best I could and it still needed some work though. He rarely washes the truck, parks underneath trees, takes it on trips, etc.... You get the point. A lot of the pics are midstream through the detail. So excuse some "no dressing" pics if you will please.

My Process:

--Pre-wash with Poorboy`s Bug Squash

--Foam Gunned w/Gold Class

--Wash w/Optimum wash

--Clay w/Opti-clay

--Optimum Hyper compound/Polish mix via Cyclo and Propel Green pads

--Werkstatt Prime "Strong" via Cyclo and Cyclo brand white pads

--Werkstatt CJ sprayed on Prime after curing 30 Minutes and removed with an MF towel

--Natty`s Blue by hand

--TOL`s "gentle" wheel wash on wheels

--TOL`s tire cleaner on tires and well

--Tires and wells treated with Optimum tire shine

--QuikShine on windows

Scottwax: Thanks Scott. CJ topped with Natty`s blue is by far the best black combo I have found.

mblgjr: Thanks for the nice words. Here is an underhood pic.
