This car belongs to a good friend of mine. Heテざs not a autopian and a nice car

like this needs to be detailed once in a while. So I detailed the car for him.

BTW this is some kind of special edition called "DTM" (Deutsche Touring masterschaft)

with a smallcarbon fiber wing, carbon fiber spoiler lip, Recaro leather and alcantara interior.

Sport suspension and 20 more horse powers and etc.

Very nice car :2thumbs:

Step 1:

The car was pretty greasy(salt and tar) after a rough winter. So I used tar&glue remover and a

preasure washer. Then two buckets with Concept wash&wax schampo, SM-Arnold wash mitts. After that

I clayed the car with Meguiars blue clay and used schampo and water as lubricant. Wash again,

dryed the car with a couple of waffle weaves.

Step 2:

Polished the car with Menzerna PO85U with Flex rotary and a polishing Wave Foam Pad @ 1500rpm.

Wiped of the residues with a SP80 microfiber cloth from lj-trading.se

Step 3: Cyclo sealant with black soft pads from Lahega.

Step 4: Vacum the interior, dressing on all the interior, used Concept chemicals 5SR-dressing.

Cleaned windows and etc.

Step 5: Dressed the engine with Concepts Chemicals Hy-lyte. Dressed tyres with

Concept Chemicals Contour.

I know itテざs not the best pictures, but the silver paint was much wetter irl.

Some words about Cyclos sealant: This is one of the slickest lsp:s ever, IMO better then

Z2 and FMJ. I have done some testing on another car, we applied Z2 on front door, FMJ on back door

and CTI on back fender. Asked my friends to touch and feel the paint. Z2 was 3rd, FMJ 2nd and CTI 1th.

But It was very close between FMJ and CTI. I did another test on the Audi, half hood with Z2 and

the rest with CTI. Oy could feel the line between them, and CTI was much slicker.

But I will give Z2 a try with the accelerator and detailing spray etc.

Please note that the tests was done only after on coat of each.

Looks great. I`ve been wanting to try some of the cyclo-branded polishes/sealants.

I hate how in the U.S. you have to get the S4 limited edition to get that car. Its stuff like that, that pisses me off with Audi and VW

Thanks! Silver is a tough colour to get wet. I was thinking about get one coat of Carlack 68 before the CTI sealant to get more wetness, but I didnテざt have the time. Maybee next time. I am planing on a silver Porsche 911 - 67 think I will go for the extra coat with CL68 on that one. Keep you posted.

If you are looking for a cheap Sealant that gives look, slickness and good protection. Buy the CTI sealant, I know Danase is selling it. Slick as FMJ but muuuuch cheaper. My favourite LSP at the moment. Will test the CTI polishes and compounds in the near future.
