Lately has been detailing quite a number of black cars and recently happened to detail two new cars, one maroon and one white. Both are in pretty good condition and not much defects to deal with. The process for both cars is similar,

Wash

Clay

PO 106FF + polishing pad + DA @ speed 4.5

Prime by hand with foam applicator

Acrylic Jett by hand with MF plush towel

By the time I finished with this Peugeot 307, the owner need to go off to somewhere else so only managed to take a few quick shots.

Next is the new VW Passat, I really prefer this new model to the previous one, looks better, more comfortable and bigger too. But of course come with a bigger price tag too. The rain has just stopped when I took the pictures, so not the best lighting for photo taking and half way through the photo taking session, it started to rain again.

Wow! Just wow! Not a huge fan of purple cars but you made that Peugeot looks amazing! :up

Just incredible what you achieved with 3 simple steps! :)

You did a beautiful job on both cars. That colour does look great on the Peugeot. I agree with you, the new Passat does look much better than the previous version. You certainly gave the white a glow!

Hey Guys, thanks for the compliment :p .

Scottwax - So far I have been getting very good result with the Menzerna + Jeffs Werkstatt combo, especially after a final polish with either PO106FF or PO85RD :xyxthumbs .

Ben Kenobi - The new Passat sure looks much better but I am thinking maybe they could have further improve the start/stop button, I find it kind of flimsy :grinno: .
