I`m just curious to know how you built up your clientele? I`m seriously thinking about doing this. My brother-in-law who has a landscaping business suggested that I make up some business cards and he would hand them out to his customers. Do you guys drive around with vans or tow trailers to carry any of your equipment? If so, what kind of equipment have you invested in? Lastly, is this profession your only or main source of income?

I started doing po dunk work in my neighborhood (washing, waxing, and quick interior cleanups)...then got refferal after referral after referral after I started to REALLY detail with clay, polishing, and the like. It also helps that at my normal job (Circuit City Roadshop), I help people out ALOT and if they have a nice car and I suggest it to be detailed; they oblige and find out I do it :).
