Am I the only one that does this? I mainly use 425 for removing polishes, clay lube, touch up spots, etc. and have found that mixing it about 50/50 with water does not compromise the results. In fact, I qd`d my entire car today in the sun with this mix and it worked even better than straight 425 which would dry out too quickly on the hot paint and streak. I am loving this stuff more and more! :bigups

I have yet to water down the 425. But man do I love this stuff! I like my 425 full throttle!

Ya, I`ve had problems with 425 drying out on me quickly when applied to moderately warm paint. I`ll try a 3:1 ratio next time. Thanks!!

I`ve been using watered down S&G for a while now. Still works the same from my experience, and I can feel better about spraying the MF a little more with the mixture.

I use distilled water in my dilution.

Me too. I use a 3:1 ratio and except for cleaning ability, it is one of my favorite QDs. My lsp is SG anyway and this sort of rejuvenates the shine and durability.

I believe he was talking about Poorboy`s Spray and Gloss when he said S&G...

Yes, S&G as in Spray and Gloss, not Klasse SG.
