Did a ton of searches and the general consensus was that the cheap random orbitals can`t really do correction/polishing. But since I have an 8" Wen and little disposable income, I picked up some SSR 2.5 and 1, and a few viking microfibre bonnets from Autozone ($6 for 2).
Process:
A line of 2.5 across the bonnet, no pressure at all on the machine (lets the pad spin as fast as possible) and let it run until it began dusting. Wipe off with microfibre.
Swapped bonnets and did the same with SSR 1. There was a thread on whether or not SSR 1 does anything, and I found that by hand or cheap machine, SSR 1 is totally necessary. Quite a bit of hazing otherwise.
Results: (cropped, but otherwise untouched)

The outcome is definitely not perfect, but there is marked improvement. This is on Acura paint, but was able to get similar results on the wife`s Oldsmobile. It`s slow going, but easier than elbow grease. Just an option for those of you that might have these and aren`t ready for the PC yet. And as horrible as it sounds, I used the "wooltex" bonnet on the wife`s Oldsmobile and it actually helped speed things up quite a bit.
