decided to clean my truck up after a winters worth of abuse. I hit it with 2 coats of Collinite insulator wax last november, and protection was GONE by january or so. I`m ashamed to admit it, but this is the first real attention my truck has gotten since then.
Here is a shot showing some pretty nasty scratches on my passenger bed rail

this shot showing the spider webbing on my hood.

This shot showing some hard water etching on the rear driver side bed rail. You can also see a glimpse inside of my filthy bed.

I first did a very intesive claying to the tune of about 2 hours. There was a tone of surface contamination, and before the clay the paint felt like sand paper.
I next hit the trouble spots with some SSR 2.5 on a TC cutting pad.
From there I moved to SSR 2.5 on a TC polishing pad on the whole truck.
After that it was Chemical guys AIO to clean up some micro marring, and clean the paint up for LSP readiness.
I followed the CG`s AIO with 3 coats of Tropi-care TC-3 on a black finishing pad.
After the TC-3 came 2 coats of FK 1000p paste.
I did a final whipe down with FK 425.
All in all it was about 5 hours worth of clay/polish/wax. I still have yet to dress the trim or do the wheels, tires, or interior. I was losing light rapidly so I snapped a quick shot to show the final result. I`ll post some full truck afters tomorrow as well as some direct sun shots to show off my newly perfect finish :D
