Hi All-

Im the guy who was rude out of frustration-"keyed"-they painted my car-but i noticed a very thin line almost but not down to the clear coat-



they used on a rotary a very think waffle pad and a not expensive polish-mothers-meguiars- came out greatI have NEVER seen these thick pads before-it was grey had to be 4" thick on a rotary- I use a 7424- any thoughts about them or where u can them with Velcro backing???? really did an amazing job-



after trying all- I think its all technique-mine neeed serious work-I swear i would drop the suit and work free for this guy for a few days just to watch

The pad is what 3M calls their glaze pad...it does not have any cut to it..ie its less aggressive than a polishing pad.

Available from anyone that sells 3M products.

Its probably a 3M pad. Body shops have them mostly. I have a few that look like that, they are glaznig pads. I don`t have the number off the top of my head. I like it, its pretty soft and does a good job when I add a layer of glaze.
