Hi Folks,

Just curious if anyone has tried the Adam`s line of stuff?

I have, and honestly came away less than impressed. That said, I`ve seen vehicles at shows that have been detailed with the stuff and have been told by a few fans that I must`ve received a bad batch of product.

I`ve used and have been impressed with their VRT dressings and their metal polishes, but the paint care stuff just hasn`t done a thing for me. I`d be interested to hear any thoughts...thanks in advance.

I have some of their products and find the FK products better in all aspects. Adams stuff is easy to use, but the results are not what I get with FK. Just my .02

I love Adam`s VRT and Detailing Spray. The car wash and MF towels didn`t do much for me. The carpet cleaner is nice... nothing special. That`s all I`ve tried.

I tried just about everything that Adam`s carries, and I found everything was easy to use.

Here is what I liked/disliked

I like:

Detail Spray

VRT

Carpet Cleaner

Brilliant Spray Glaze

Car Wash

Bucket w/Dolly and Grit Guard

Glass Cleaner

Revive Polish

In-N-Out Spray

MF Applicators

Large Sponge Applicators

Leather Conditioner

Did not care for:

Butter Wax

Swirl Remover

While I liked the Revive (which acted more like a glaze for me), the butter wax did not hold up very well, and it did not add any additional depth (like other LSPs sometimes do). I found the scratch remover to be almost too mild, even after working it a little. A lot of people don`t really care for the Brilliant Spray Glaze, but I like it on Chrome, headlights, bug deflectors, and wheels.

yeah I am not too happy with a sample of Adams that I tried. I have noticed that there is a push on many forums for these products and it is getting to me

I`ve tried them, I`ve got very good results althougt the butter wax did not stay on the car long enough. I love their Brilliant Spray Glaze though, easy to apply and easy to take off and fantastic shin and deepness of color in minutes.

Mt friend and I have used almost the entire line. And we have had both good and bad results with the swirl remover. The glass cleaner is freakin` awesome! And the VRT is great too! Otherwise, not too impressed.

Adam`s was the first company I decided to try, thoguh there are other threads about this . . .lets discuss it more. - WTFN?

Their products work well, if you know what to expect from them.

The swiril remover when combined with the revive polish makes a fairly impressive MILD MILD polish.

by itself, i found it to be very dusty when used with the pc, but it works on mild hazing and spider webbing . . .

the revive polish by istelf is more of a finishing glaze, but provides very good shine IMO

The buttery wax, as stated by others on this forum - Works fairly well, add a decent depth to dark color finishes, but has very little durability. It, to be effective at protecting, needs to have multiple, multiple thin layers. They are developing a new paste wax which should be out soon . . . according to their CS Dept...

IN/OUT spray, VRT and Glass Cleaner (which is a unique formula of their own design, as they employ an in-house chemist for certain products) work very well, and are worth trying out.

Brilliant Spray glaze works fantastic on chrome IMO - but the new VOC compliant is not as effective as the old formula (as with so many other products)

They have changed their MF to cobra, which IMO is a good decision, as their previous MF was sub-par to other premium brands . . .

The detail spray is cheap, effective and can be used on any type of LSP ( I have used it on Souveran and AIO/KSG

It is true that some of their products are similar to chemical guys. (both companies are based in CA, near the bay area)

I have purchased the entire line. Figure I might as well give my 2 cents.

Send me PM if you want a more detailed description of certain products.

Seems like a rebadge to me. A lot like certain tropicare and chem guy products. To close for me to even consider buying. I like something original looking at least.
