Well I spent the best part of my weekend working on my red VW, trying new products, well atleast new to me. Tell me what you think, any comments are welcome.

The process:

Wash: FK1 wash and wax, came as a free sample with my fk425, I liked it, didn`t seem to harsh, and added a pretty nice shine to the paint even before any detailing started.

Clay: Meguiers Clay, Nice set up, I like how it came with 2 pieces of clay. But I wish I could just buy the clay and not have to pay for the quick detailer, wax, and microfiber that comes with it.

Polish: OP, This is great product couldn`t belive how long you can work with it and it still won`t dust that much, with a polishing pad i was able to remove most of my swirls which were pretty light, my vw has a very hard clear, so a stronger pad or product would help. But I tired it on a part of my father`s Montero`s hood, which has 8 years of swirls from assorted car washes and drying with old nasty towels, and the OP removed 99% of the swirls, the monty`s paint is so much easier to work with than my VW`s even though the vw had light swirls and the monty had pretty harsh ones.

Glaze: RMG, also a great product, it did a good job of giving my red a deep glow, but the OP is such a versitile product for most details the glaze could be skiped and from the Op you could go steight to a sealent/wax.

Wax: Natty`s Blue, My new favorite, I was wrong to think s100 couldn`t be beaten. NB really gave my red that dipped in oil look. it is quite deeper looking than the s100, anyone with a red or black car this is the wax for you. I can`t comment on how long it lasts though.

Quick detailer: Fk425, makes the surface super slick and adds an even further pop to the paint. I have not used to many quick detailers but this one seems very good.

Enough talking, here are the pictures:

Excellent work, looks really wet. I`ve been curious whether or not to put 425 on top of Natty`s. I`ll definitely have to try it (once I get some decent weather and my 425).

You do great work! That`s as wet as I`ll ever see red oil... I mean paint.

Thanks for all the comments, it`s nice to hear them comming from people who are better detailers than myself. This combo really seems to set red off. Also an update on the fk425, I had to park my car outside last night, and this morning there was hardley any dust on it, less than if the car had been in a garage without the fk, a great product. I have been lurking here for about 3 years, and have been a member for about 7 months. This is a great and useful forum and I hope to participate here more :xyxthumbs

Excellent work! The wheel detail is superb! I`m going to have to try some of that Natty`s Blue. All the ranting and raving is really sparking my interest seeing that I have a black car. Great job! :woohoo:
