I never smoke in the cabin, still the roof (on the inside , of course) is a little bit dirty.

How should i clean it?

I have a #713 Special cleaner from AutoMagic.

I`m thinking of vacuuming it first, then spray with that cleaner diluted 1 to 20. agitate with a brush and vacuuming it again.

White95Max had good results with woolite and warm water as seen in this thread:

I`ve used the same to clean a few dirty spots on my headliner as well :bigups

what is that " a woolite"?

No matter, I have found that is a clothes detergent.

I have here "Ariel". Is it good?

I`ve suceeded with #713 Special Cleaner dilluted 1 to 20, but i ran out of it at the middle of the work, so i carried on with a solution of Ariel (something like a woolite ) diluted with warm water. Rinsed with plain water sprayed on the roof and vacuumed.

Cabin as in house or car? One thing about smoke is the older its there the harder it is to get off and also the amount there is too, if there a lot on it then its real harder then to clean. I would just replace the headliner. But you said you didn`t smoke so it should be real easy. Remember don`t get the headliner to wet because in back of the headliner sometimes is cardboard and it will warp.
