I really want to clean the underside of my car. There was some construction on the street that I work on and one day it rained and made a mess with all the concrete powder that was left on the street. I had to drive through it and got this mess all over the car. I washed the car when I got home but the underside wasn`t touched. Now I want to clean the underside of the car and get all of this mess off. Some of it looks like mud but it`s a lot harder to get off than mud. Other parts looks like it`s just dirt that has splashed up on everything. Any suggestions on what I could/should use to help clean all of this mess off? I`m sure I`ll have to scrub everything but if I can loosen it up and make the job easier then I`m willing to try.

Here are a couple of pictures. This doesn`t even show the worst parts but I can`t get under the car right now to get better pictures

That thread still blows me away. It might as well have just rolled off the truck. Amazing.

nice to hear that, a recent trip to sugar mtn in NC has left the finish a little bruised, but rest assured, friday will be its day to shine(no pun intended)

Well my friend and I tried to clean off some of the stuff. We cleaned the front starting from the front bumper to the front wheels. We used some black magic engine degreasher/dressing. I`m not a fan of these types of products because they usually only do one part of what they say they will do. This worked out pretty well though. It got off a lot of the dirt and when we power washed a lot more came off. I might try some other stuff for the rest of the car. I`m thinking of using an engine degreaser and letting it sit for a while and then try to scrub off what ever I can reach. I wish I had a lift so I would work a little easier.
