Well today my girlfriend traded in her punto for a mini cooper. I must say I am very impressed with the build quality and even more so with the paint it is hard as nails.

-Menzerna Power Compound with LC high gloss cutting pad at notch "2" on rotary

-Menzerna Finishing touch glaze with meg`s finishing pad notch "1" on rotary

-Zymol HD Cleanse by hand (wish I hadn`t)

-Poorboys EX by hand

-Menzerna Acrylic Jacket by hand

I got the car as perfect as I could in the time (3 hours) which isn`t long to fully wash, polish and protect a car.

The initial condition was pretty severe it was like it had been washed with a brush, literally.

Only one before as I was in a rush

Few afters as she was getting changed to head home and show the folks.

Looks great!!!

Why would you use both the:

Poorboys EX by hand

Menzerna Acrylic Jacket by hand

Are they both not a sealant? I have never used either.

What about using the Zymol HD Cleanse after the glaze? Did it not remove all the glaze? Another 2 products that I have never used, so I apologize in advance for my questions if they seem silly.

Again the car looks great!!!!

The acrylic jet as I understand is a QD with Acrylic, I just used it to get some extra gloss and remove some of the dusting from the Menzerna products.

As I said I was pushed for time and that was closest.

The hd cleanse was not used on top of the final touch, it was only used on the areas of the mini where a normal pad would not fit, but I wish I never bothered PITA product to use! lol.

Thanks!!

Nice results!

Do you mean High Gloss Acrylic Shield? It`s a spray. The Acrylic Jacket is an acrylic sealant with abrasives.

Nice! Paint looks really wet.

I would have traded places with you today, Mini for an F-250. :nervous2:

lol yeah it made a nice change, plus I managed to turn the car around in 3 hours which is a record for me.

Spoiledman - Yeah its the high gloss acrylic shield I used, I only used it for a QD didn`t really think about protection, was just trying to remove some dusting left over one it was finished.
