engine corrosion

So my car came from New Jersey... plenty of salt around to corrode the engine pretty decently (and it`s an `02!)



mostly it`s the whitish crap on the block and various other parts. come brackets actually have rust.



recommendations for cleaning? mothers billet polish doesnt touch it.
