how many do you guys think i`ll need to dry off a suv after a wash and to buff off polish and wax?

3 two for drying, 1 if you use a leaf blower only one, 1 for buffing as long as you keep it clean.

I would use a waffle weave for drying no matter what you do since they are so thirsty and easy to work with. Use the Monsters for other things like buffing and QD.
