On the painted plastic go to town like the rest of the paint. On bare plastic don`t polish or wax them. Use a product for trim.

Can you use Plexus? If there is a superficial scratch in the plastic "clear coat" can you buff it out like the rest of the vehicle?

If it is in the paint buff it out like normal painted metal surfaces. If it is in the unpainted plastic you can use the plexus.

Johnson`s Pledge on the plastic. I had some plastic bezels on the dash of my 67 Chevelle rechromed, and that`s what they recommened.
