Just purchased a century 400 and have a couple of questions.

1.Have you tried to use this unit on one circuit?

2.Do you have two seperate dedicated circuits?

3.If your mobile how are you getting power to the unit?

4.Any and all opinons and suggestions appreciated.

THANKS IN ADVANCE

Which Century 400 unit did you purchase? I am assuming one of the two plug units. I usually just plug the two plugs into different outlets that are not too close to one another. I have not blown any fuses yet. I believe a 15 amp can handle the load as long as other things are not running on the circuit. As far as mobile, I have Century 400 spotter unit that only has one plug (no heater). If you have a good generator, it should power the two plug units though.

I use my Century 400 (2) in a fixed location. I have dedicated, 20 amp circuits for both.

On the few occasions that I have used one at home, just use two different 15 amp circuits. Works fine.

A great machine, a real workhorse.

But not very practical for mobile use.
