swirls out with a LC Yellow pad on my PC and SSR2.5. Pretty much does nothing. Is it user error or do I need to try a different product? The swirls are moderate to severe.

Thanks!

if your car has hard paint (most europeans, honda white, etc) even that combo may take a while to remove swirls. make sure you keep your presssure, movement speed, product amount, etc in check. also, the lc yellow may be installing some hazing. Could the defects your seeing be hazing?

Funny you should mention that. I have a white Honda. :hmph:

It does not appear to be hazing. Paint looks rich and deep under a halogen, but the swirls are still there.

How long should I work on each section, and at what speed. I apologize for so many questions, I`m still getting the hang of the PC.

Thanks!

Hmm.. crank up that PC to 6 and maybe try something like Menzerna IP. I would work it in until it starts to dry. Be prepared to do multiple passes. Then, after it appears improved but doesn`t have that "pop", use a white polishing pad and a polish such as Menzerna FP II.
