I would go to wal-mart and buy a car cover, but I`m not sure those el-cheapo ones are that great/are paint-safe. Would it be a good idea to get a really cheap one tho?

I really cant bear seeing her in so much pain. I`m broke as my avatar states, and can`t afford one of the better ones, but would it suffice?

Wow, that`s a lot of snow. I always think it would be fun to live where it snows, then I see pics like that and I kind of like Houston again.

The other night I spent 15 minutes cleaning snow and ice off of my windows and stuff!

And it just dumped here again tonight!

You just have to bear it and grin, I suppose....:(

Northeast Ohio`s frost and freeze warnings are anywhere between October and April, maybe like 3 days a month it isnt below freezing :(

and you deal with cruddy weather for half of the year why? while it isnt going to get above 55 today or tommorow, by friday it`s supposed to be in the mid 80`s! as much as i complain about the cold (well, for me anyways) I can deal with 2-3 days of it if the weather man promises that it`ll be back to normal in a few days. I don`t know how you guys deal with it for months on end, let alone salty sandy roads that beat your cars finish into a pulp :(

I really do hate it, certain circimstances made me move to Boone, NC, one of those towns that are waayyy high up in the mountains, and most people that live up here are rich, snooty people living in log cabins on a mountain and such, that have nothing better to do than complain to the DOT about how iced over the roads are, and how they cant reach thier winter home. So, in turn, the DOT put more salt and sand than you would ever BELIEVE imaginable, the salt on the roads is so thick that when its warm and there is no ice on the roads, you can slide around on the stuff. I dunno, just upsets me...like it would anyone concerned about the precious finish on thier car!

Ahhh, Boone NC! My daugher is up there going to school. And yes, they cover the roads with all kinds of abrasives and it all comes home IN / ON / and UNDER her car! I get to clean it a few times a year and it`s ALWAYS a mess!

I`m glad I moved from the southern New Jersey!

I don`t know how I put up with it either, and I live in central Ohio where we don`t catch any lake effect...

My girlfriend and I have talked on numerous occasions about when she finishes college getting married and moving south!
