Todays dynamic duo consisted of a 03 Passat W8. (Lite cutting pad, SSR 2.5, and believe it or not, Mothers Reflections Wax. The more I use that stuff, the more Im addicted to it because of its smell. Not to mention, its a very good product IMO)

Then onto a 05 Toureg. (Just a wash and OCW, interior cleaning)

And the duo..........

Both look great, especially considering the easy steps it took. :)

I love days like that!

Scott, it was still 4.5 hrs for the W8 Passat, and 1.5 hrs for the Toureg, (Did I mention it was 85 deg`s also Scott?) which is a beast, bigger then they appear....Beautiful interior.

The Passat is quite a car, I mean its light to begin with, has that sporty German handling, and a V-8? Gimee a canyon road thru the Santa Monica Mts !!

Hey Patrick, Nice work!!

I have a question on the Mother`s Reflection product that you used. After application, how long did you wait to buff off the product? Assuming that a thin layer was applied was the product slow to haze? Am wondering because the weather here has been cold and hazing has/was slow. Noticed also that cure time seems to be long also. Also probably because of the cooler weather that my area has been experiencing.

Looks great Patrick.

By the way, those new sheepskin mitts I purchased are terrific. They are just as soft as can be but quite durable.

Craig, Im sure the weather has everything to do with your particular situation. Yesterday was warm and dry out. I did the entire car and went back and then removed, without any problems whatsoever..... I will add that the UPP/RMG combo I had previously used on the Passat, was still evident, 6 months later......To what % of protection remained im not sure of, but there still beading properties....This will be a good test to see what remains in another 6 mos.
