I always wash my new towels first before putting them to use, however, I was wondering if some people don`t do this? What are your reasons?

I always wash mine before their first use (unless they`re dirty towels destined for engines, undercarriages, etc). when I first started getting into detailing, someone (can`t remember who off hand) said that there are bits and pieces of leftover microfiber in the weave when the towels are manufactured. the initial wash will get these little bits out of the towel and leave you with a perfectly clean weave.

I honestly didn`t think about it, but when drying with a WW the other day I just reached for the other one from the pack when the first became wet. It didn`t feel any different to the first one I used that had been washed before.
