This is my dad`s car, it`s a 2004 Honda Accord V6 6spd Saphire Blue. I detailed it about 4 months ago and used AIO and a few layers of SG and it was still beading like crazy! He drives this to his work (steel mill) every day and it sits out 24/7, so it takes a beating. I decided to try my new IW, which I had to buy. :furious: (thanks papi_jay  ) IW looks pretty good, not great (SG looked way better), but good enough and we`ll see about durability.

Process:

Wash with NXT and cheap foam gun

Wax with IW

Wheels cleaned with E1 AWATC then sealed with E1 WAUD

Tires cleaned with E1 AWATC then dressed with AAx2

Windows got NXT inside and out

Interior will be finished tomorrow and I`ll get some better pics.

Looks good -- I used the Collinite 845 on my BMW 540i -- a car that sits outside 24 hrs/day x 7 days/week. And it has held up quite well -- better than I expected.

In fact, next weekend I plan on polishing the 540 and then applying AIO > SG > Coll 845.

The paint has a really nice glow with 845. Amazing how truly excellent such a durable wax can look, isn`t it?

Nice job on the interior too. :)

Very nice man. Also, is the car quick? Your dad like it? My G/f really wants one.

Let me put it this way, on the street it gave my car a run for the $, beat several new Mustang GTs, beat a G35 coupe and lastly and least beat a couple ricers. lol As far as the actual quality, funness, etc, well my mom bought an 03 and then my dad had to have one for himself and bought this one. BTW a stick makes a pretty big differnce in the car, its quicker, handles better and looks better (wheels, int.), it comes stock with a couple extra things, almost like the performance package type thing. Also if you get a new Accord, get the nav system! Its easy to use and is very helpful. It also gets great gas mileage on regular, but gets 10extra hp from premium. We took it to the track a while ago, but I dont remember what it ran (I think it was around mid 14s).

Nice job bro, i have a acura cl so i know how these things can really move and a six speed? Sick. Nice shine job too, honda clearcoat is tempramental so I know the work you put into it. I totally agree with you on the sg. I am trying to expand my mind and try new sealants but it`s hard to get away from.

When I think Glaze and Carnauba, I think darker color. The SG really made this blue metalic POP! I might try CGs Top Coat next time, another great sealant.

If your looking for metallic pop, you`ve gotta try out four star`s UPP. That stuff makes metallic flake go nuts!

Damn sounds like a great car. She has a 98 Accord Coupe right now. V6 model and i love the thing. Time to go test driving!

BTW UPP is my fav on mp. Really some serious sparkle.
