    HD Polish Replacement

I know this was discontinued dome time ago. I managed to find some new old stock and just finished up the last of it so now I need to find a replacement.

The HD polish was great in that it had some decent correction ability, was virtually dust free and finished down to a coating ready finish. I do wipe with a prep before applying a coating but the HD polish was very clean after it was broken down and wiped off.

Looking for a replacement- what do you recommend? I have M205 and its good, better for cars that needed more correction than HD polish could handle but the HD after the 205 gets me a better finish. I also Have essence and that is good but not quite as good as the HD polish finished.

    Re: HD Polish Replacement

Sonax has some really great polishes, imho. They can cut well if needed and all finish well. Easy to use too. Also, check out the griots boss creams. I have some on deck, but I bet their perfecting cream would suit you.

Sticking my nose in here, but--isn`t there an equivalent to the HD Polish in the 3D line? Or was the HD Polish strictly a boutique product?

I still love the results from Optimum Hyper-Polish... It will cut as long as you want it to, and finish down really clear and glossy. It`s been around so long, I hope it is still out there...
I only use my Makita Rotary on all paint work, so that might make a difference in my experiences with products...

Aw gee, discontinued, huh? Wish I`d ordered another bottle when I could have

Should I ever polish a vehicle again, I`ll probably go with Griot`s..but I`m watching this thread to see what others think.

Same here. I`m going to go with Griot`s if I ever need to correct. Last product I touched was M101 which quite satisfied me.
Treat it like it`s the only one in the world.

3D ACA 520 is probably the closest equivalent from 3D.
