    Quick review on HD CUT+

I have a 03 caddy deville hood that I prepped for a wax test in salty humid beach climate( collinite 476).
the clear has gotten quite trashed in this environment but did benefit well from getting a good buff job W/ dwp849x.
after trizact p3000 entire hood, I started with one of 3ds old school #1 wool HD white/yellow cut pad and some HD cut...
only 10-15 seconds into buffing I noticed the creme gumming up a fair amount. Pictures do show justice, but none are available unless another buff job goes under way. With that being said; on the other hand, foam cutting worked exceptionally well.
I wish I had like another wool pad to buff with to really compare.... such as a thick 3m super buff.
backing plate isn`t ideal for the wool pad I used, but I did not have a perfect fit.

So which foam pad did you use? yellow or orange cut (B&S and HD)or the white heavy polish? The Micro fibers work good also. have not tried cut + but do like Cut.

That normally indicates too much product was used. After priming the pad by buffing a couple of times, really cut back on how much you add to the pad. Try halving it.

I really hope you didn`t stop trying after just 15 seconds? Sounded like too much product too, but if you keep going you`ll usually work through this build up. (another great feature of a rotary).

For me HD cut+ on rotarty 1400-1600 RPM with wool purple foam pad, also dried or made too transparent after 3 passes

I`ll ask the question to you as well: What did you do to work around this issue?

Nothing, I had to continue using it like this, since it is the only compound on hand I had, but there was no comfort, the only good minimal residue for wipe off.
