    HD Speed questions and observations.@

Just used HD Speed for the first time today. While it works as described I found the smell to be slightly undesirable. I can smell the Berry but something else in there just rubbed me wrong. Anyone else feel the same?

Also I used it in VERY direct sunlight this morning and it did a perfect job. Didn`t dry up while working and wiped right off. Says clearly on the label to use it in the shade. Is that everyone else`s observation with this great product too?

Personally don`t find the smell offensive at all. Haven`t ever used any polish in sunlight, so I have no observation on that

Personally I like the smell compared to a lot of the compounds I`m use to sniffing throughout the years. As a general rule of thumb try as best as possible to do any paint correction in doors and out of direct sunlight.

Yeah, I am not recommending it at all. This was on a trailer that will not fit in my garage. I work afternoons so I have to get up early and start. Last panel I had left was the south east facing panel. Tried to save it for a day I could get it in the evening but Mother Nature was not very cooperative, as usual.

Just for clarification, are you not recommending HD Speed, or using it in the sun?

I think he meant not recommending use under direct sunlight.

Sorry, I am saying that it is not a good idea to use it in the sun. I proved to myself that it works ok in the sun but dont want someone else to do it and have trouble. 3D says it is sun friendly but the bottle says use in the shade.

    The product is GREAT!

I am a BIG XMT360 fan and the HD Speed will be going head to head with every car I get in from now on for an AIO. So far it seems like Speed may dethrone my current fav.

I love the smell of HD Speed. Probably one of the best AIO`s I have used. Has a long working time and super easy to wipe off. I would never use it in direct sun though.

I like the grape smell but I try and avoid smelling any chemicals while detailing. I always detail with either a disposable face mask or respirator now and my sinuses have thanked me. I have asthma too so I try and be as careful as possible.

Love HD Speed!!!! Sometimes I forget that I have it cause I have so many different products. One of my all time favorites. My wife can even tell when I am using it cause of the nice smell.

Smells great to me, the GF opened the door to the garage while i was using it on a car and the first thing she said was "oh it smells good in here!" I honestly don`t think i`ll be interested in checking out any other AIO after using Speed, sure i`ll read into any new similar products, but man I`ve been extremely happy with it. It has actually given me better results than using M205 in some cases.

I see so much love for HD Speed (it deserves it) and I`m just sitting here waiting for everyone to realize how great 3D AAT Rubbing Compound and AAT Finishing Polish are. Hopefully one day they`ll be available in a smaller size...

Would love to see a head to head comparison between those two and Cut/Polish

Me too. Being an enthusiast with limit chances to do this stuff, i certainly dont need to buy more polish and the price is a tad too tall for me. If theyre better than polish, cut and adapt, that says a lot though.
