Anyone have HD Speed with mild dust

I finally got a chance to try HD Speed.
Does it normally have a mild dust as your working it? I only applied a few drops each time I did a section.
I thought it was caused by my new Rupes pads but after washing them I still had a mild dust on the car as I went to panels not yet polished.

    Car turned out great though.
I couldn`t resist topping it with Natty Red after I finished the interior.

    Photos soon.

I didn`t do lots of correction scratching my head as to why the car looked so much more damaged than last year. I found out tonight.. MIL takes it to a car wash.

Re: Anyone have HD Speed with mild dust

Used HD speed again over the weekend. Ran at speed 5 on my flex with blue HT pads. No dusting. One stepped my grandpas car in 4 hours with it. Looked almost as good as my moms car, which I spent 14 hours on with a 2 step polish and then PBL coating. HD speed really is an outstanding product. Easy to see why it`s so highly regarded.

I experienced dusting with Speed when I used it with my Rupes 21 and a Meg`s low profile pad. I switched over to my GG and a Buff and Shine pad and had no dusting at all. I know with Speed less is better and no pad priming.

Although Speed requires very little product, you might have used too little. I usually prime with 5-6 nickel size drops, then use 3-4 pea sized drops for each section afterwards.

I seem to get better results with everything if I prime the pad. Obviously this means using more product but I`m otherwise not sure what benefit there`d be to not priming

HD polishes do not work well with a fully primed pad--specific instruction from HD.
