Question 3D AAT #501 Using Different Pads

A specific "what if question?" to those who have used this new compound, since many new polishes/compounds are now pad dependent.

501 using a PC and Lake Country pads. I`ve used 501 with MF pads and got great results correcting cc scratches. Didn`t even need a final polish but used HD Polish to gain a stunning gloss. 501 finishes down very well, cleans up with very little effort and is so easy to use.

Q1: If I go down to a Yellow or Orange or White or Gray pad, what level of correcting am I getting?

With so many variables (paint hardness/condition/expectation) behind your question, it`s virtually impossible to know? What you might find helpful is trying 502 Polish with a heavier cutting/polishing pad. Works extremely well by cutting defects and leaving a great level of gloss.
