does anyone else have a hard time removing hd uno from the paint?

was woring on my aunts black suv and was going to test uno out and could not get the product to wipe off easily

diff attempts all with pc7424xp hex logic orange pad

    1) figured maybe i didnt work product enough so i took my time and no luck it still wouldnt wipe off without excessive rubbing

    2) too much product? decided to do a new test spot with a different pad with minimal product and took my time working it into the paint and still no luck

    3) quick detailer and wipe down. Used Ammo emergency spit shine and it made it a lil bit easier but i found myself spraying over and over to remove it completely. Also tried megs ultimate quik detailer and it worked almost as well as the Ammo product

    4) decided to try some 3m perfect it compound and while it did not leave as good of a finish (more agressive than m105) it came right off the paint (left a lot of dust though)

I will admit once i got the Uno off the paint i was very impressed by the results and liked the idea of switching to softer pads. I just dont like the idea of having to rub the paint excessively in order remove the product

Any suggestions or is it a characteristic of HD uno?

trying to stay away from products that dust a lot

I believe the few times I`ve had this problem had more to do with actually working it too long rather than not long enough. I also seem to run into this problem when I experimented with "priming the pad" by misting QD onto the surface of the pad before applying compound.

Are you "Priming" your pad this way?

How big of a section are you working?

How long are you working it?

    How many passes?

Are you doing this in the sun?

How much product are you putting on the pad?

If you answer these questions I`d be willing to bet that someone on here can help you out a little better!

Hopefully I was a little help as well.
