We had a 100 units shipped in this month. Unfortunately, they were all pre-sold to our store locations. None left for our online store.

Not sure if Barry Theal picked a few up or not. Can check with him to see if he has any.

We will most likely get another block in next month.

Is this a production problem? It seems like it is taking a long time to get new runs of polishers out.

Just get one from Harbour Freight. Seems to be the same unit. Link (Go to the last page)

Not like it was a big surprise; we already knew they were similar. That they may actually be from the same supplier could be another explanation why it is taking 3D so long to get more in stock. In the meantime (and assuming 3D will still be selling the same machine instead of something different), at least there is a low-priced alternative if people are so inclined. Or, for those who want or need a backup polisher on a budget this is a viable option.

Look at the price point HD was selling their kit for, and what all was included. Of course the tool wouldn`t be built the same as a G110v2/GG6/PCXP that don`t include even half as many ancillaries.

The performance of the polisher really excels but mine broke already. A molded plastic piece around the brush holder under the cover where the speed selector is mounted has broken in two. I can only assume it broke from vibration as the unit was never dropped or anything. (maybe the one I got was the one Garry Dean was testing in his video) J/K... Seems like a big bloop or blunder that Harbor Freight has started offering the same machine just a month or so after the release of the machine by 3D. I`ll be looking in the direction of Rupes or something that may follow that trend of higher quality.

Dave. I just picked a GG da and I really like it. I have corrected 3 of my cars so far. I don`t work mine out like you do but it has a lifetime guarantee so why now.

The lifetime guarantee would be something nice if you wanted to take the time to package it up and ship it and wait and etc. etc. It`s pretty much a roulette odds thing for the GG. I`d rather pay extra to get something high quality that has an "available parts" list to repair it myself should something go wrong. There have been a lot of cars shined up with the GGs and the PCs of the world but now that I`ve worked with a machine that performs much better I don`t really want to go backwards again and go with one of those units. I`ll likely just super glue and JB Weld my HD polisher back together and put some money back each job until I have enough to place an order with K.B. for a Rupes. Maybe by that time you won`t have to be on a waiting list to get one.
