Will HD speed and Poxy look as good as Nitroseal ? Not worried about durability.

Assuming that you didn`t polish 1st, I would say HD Speed/Poxy would look better. I`d say anytime you can create better gloss and clarity 1st, you`re creating a better finish.

Isn`t polishing a necessary step before nitro seal though?

I used undo then speed when I Nitro Sealed and it turned out great.

I guess I should have clarified my question. What I wanted to ask was . Does speed then Poxy look as good as Uno then Nitroseal.

I think Nitroseal is extremely shinny and wet. probably one of the best out there.

My Nitro seal was opened about 6 weeks ago, I am going to use it again and see what happens.

    IMO, No

Speed topped with Poxy looks fantastic, however Nitro Seal is just in a class of it’s own.

I agree with Daniel. Now SPEED topped with NS is what I can`t wait to see.

Speed/POXY is the wettest finish I`ve been able to get. Amazing !!

I would say NO, only because if you`re finishing with the latest UNO(which is a cutting polish),you`re leaving some gloss on the table by not using a finishing polish prior to sealing.

If both finishes are "finished out" the same way (corrected with UNO and then final polished with SPEED),I`d give the edge to the one that had Nitro Seal on it. The product looks great! And POXY ain`t no slouch either... :nono:

NS can last for a long time after it`s opened, but providing that you super tightened the cap and stored it in a cool place (refriderator). As long as the consistency is still the same....you`re good to go.
