Have you ever tried distilled water and see if it works better?

    Yes...it`s called rain water!

I don`t mean to be facetious but *our* rain water is purer than any shop "distilled water" - which is just normal de-ionized water.

It won`t make a difference. The problem is not enough alcohol solvent to cut through oily residue.

As I said, works great on slightly marked or hazed glass. the heavy stuff needs something heavier.

So far this has been my saviour on the heavy stuff:

I believe the formula has changed but this one is excellent.

I keep my 3D readymix cleaner under the sink. Works very well around the house, but I am not a fan of it on the vehicle. Although it does work fine, it is not my first choice.

Still, for the price, is it a good option.

I have to ask - what is it that you don`t like about it on cars vs in the house?

No one touches my car or window! The dirt road trip was worth it though - 2 miles long
