I use D120 daily and am not impressed with its cleaning ability. I won`t be buying any more after this gallon. Sounds like i need to try 3Ds offering.

I love poxy and the pink soap. I would be willing to try more products but I can`t justify the shipping. I was putting an order together and the shipping alone was $50 to upstate New York (where i would drive an hour, cross the border and drive back home) $50 buys me alot of other gallons from elsewhere with free shipping.

Ditto.. I was thinking the same thing... I like Stoners and Sprayaway Glass Cleaner.

    How do they compare?

Also any chance we will see some reviews/comparisons of the vinyl/plastic protectant`s ??

I used to use those 2 cleaners. If you were in my house right now, you would only find a 3D version.

which comparo are you interested in?

The only thing about the foam 3D glass cleaner is that I find it to be too foamy getting in the way of cleaning Nevertheless, the results it delivers are very good. I mixed my first bottle of the concentrate and wil be taking a break from the Megs cleaner to experiment with it.

    The Protectants....

Universal Protectant, Ultra Protectant, and Ultra Protectant-Thick.

    differences, looks(pics?), durability, etc...

I`d like something for exterior plastic, vinyl, and especially the plastic on my roof rack/lower body molding on my Outback.

    Thx

Does the RTU version work the same as the concentrate or is it better?

I have mixed feelings about the concentrate.

I have only used this version and works fantastic. How is the concentrate?

A bit strange. When sprayed onto the glass it doesn`t spread/run like the many glass cleaners I`ve used. It beads on the glass and stays put.

When used on lightly marked glass it works exceptionally well, cleaning it and leaving no residue or smears like some glass cleaners can. I love it on this type of surface. Better than anything in these conditions.

But on glass that has a lot of haze or oiliness it can`t touch it. It just glides over the surface unable to break through. I`ve had to add some methylated spirits (denatured alcohol) to cut through it. Then it works ok. Other alcohol based window cleaners have worked far better in those condition. I found IG to be the best but not cost effective for pro use. Even Megs detailer concentrate works better in those conditions, even though it can smear more than 3D.

I`m looking for a high alcohol window cleaner for heavy-duty use that won`t smear and is cost effective. At this stage, 3D concentrate isn`t doing it for me.

Am I doing something wrong? For the record, I`m diluting it with rain water.

Not sure why you are having issues with it. I`d try distilled water

Not enough solvent (alcohol) in it.

I`m trialling several to get the results i want. I`ve tried about six different ones and so far the *only* one that cuts through oily film is a high alcohol household window cleaner (it also leaves an anti-static coating). Very impressed.

For lightly marked or just hazy windscreens 3D is very good.

Rain water? That`s a 1st for me. Unless you`re filtering it, it`s gotta be pretty dirty?
