Barry, want to send me out a sample of the new version to try?

I still have the original stuff and I was not all that impressed by it...it was a bear to remove.

    Oh, yes... :tape2:

The Hall of Fame thing threw me off.... then I speed read "from Vegas" for "in Vegas", and I thought a Hall of Fame Seminar, which I never heard of, was taking place in Vegas. :tsk:

    Thank you! :tea:

I primed both pads with a thin, very thin coat, with the Megs - I used 300 to prime, the UNO was like a lotion and spread easily on the MF pad. After every panel I cleaned the pad with compressed air. Then added a couple dime size dots.

Tip - I found that if you use too much UNO, (not that I would "ever" do that..choke!) just lift the buffer, clean the pad, go back and work the area again - do not add more product.

Oh - and I found with the PCXP, I`d start with speed 3.5-4 and bump to 5, never went past speed 5, and my hands felt the difference later that day.

Lastly, I didn`t use much pressure -maybe 5-8 pounds and tried to keep the pad flat.

UNO and the Meg`s MF pads rock! Did a black Porsche and it eat throught the defects.

    Great thread Barry.

I am a little confused. Why does the HD Uno only have 1 polishing pad? tdekany said I should use Orange, white then Red with the HD Uno. What if I went with the HD pads, there is only 1 color??? Sorry for the noobie questions.

You can use any pad with UNO. 3D does have wool, and blue finishing pads.

In most cases, an orange pad will do the trick, UNO will finish down that well, but not always.

Ok, I have been on the site for some time and really love the tips and tricks with new products. When Menzerna came out everyone jumped on, then the M105/M205 and we also had M83 followed up with 3M Finesse It and I liked using all of them. I think what I mean to say is you all have found great products that achieve great result and the market is constantly evolving. I will be ordering the UNO/POXY combo tomorrow.

I have been surfing the forum for sometime, and finally decided to join after finding the HD Uno. I just ordered the Uno and the Poxy deal this evening, so hopefully it will work for me as well as it has worked for so many of you.
