    u may burn the transformer. try again with your car and see if the nomad is burn before u send it out for exchange.

    nomad has a fuse 8A in the 12v plug, check that too.

    Just got my replacement today. It looks a bit different than other one,more square shaped. It also has a better looking nozzle. I believe it has a little more pressure too.

    Two questions:

    Would this jump starter be sufficient enough to power the Nomad. Its on sale for $50 at amazon:

    [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Duracell-DPP-300EP-Powerpack-300-watt-Compressor/dp/B000TKBLHM/ref=pd_sbs_auto_1]Amazon.com: Duracell DPP-300EP Powerpack 300 with Built-in 300-watt Inverter and 250 PSI Air Compressor: Automotive[/ame]

    Also whats the difference between these two Nomad units from amazon:

    [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Nomad-Orange-Portable-Washer-h20/dp/B0024M3OJ6/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&s=home-garden&qid=1262208342&sr=8-8]Amazon.com: Nomad Orange Portable Washer, h20: Home & Garden[/ame]

    [ame=http://www.amazon.com/Nomad-H2O-Portable-Power-Washer/dp/B00171JR28/ref=pd_sim_k_5]Amazon.com: Nomad H2O On-The-Go Portable Power Washer: Sports & Outdoors[/ame]

    The second one is slightly cheaper after shipping

    Just received my Nomad yesterday and tried it out today. I was loving it until I accidentally pulled too hard on the hose and the plastic fitting that goes from the nomad to the hose popped out (Check out the pic below). This caused the nomad to leak the water that was in the tank.

    Anyone experience this problem?

    Also I ordered it from orangeonions on amazon. Has anyone gotten a replacement from them? Thanks

    That sucks but mine are fine . I donot put any stress on those fittings as .I always leave slack . I just reposition the washer as needed. You can try to get a replacement from them. If not I think nomad will replace it .

    Yeah it really sucks. I was all happy to try it out then it broke on me . However, I noticed that there are two different versions of that nomad. The newer ones appear to have a metal fitting instead of that cheap plastic. Hopefully I can get one of those instead. Does anyone have one of these?

    When you blow up the pics the first one looks like it has the metal hose connector.

    Which JC Penney outlet location did you go to? Do you mind sharing the sku/product number. I have one located close by and want to call and check to see if they have any.
