Love me some Chemical Guys soaps. I like to use Citrus Wash at 1oz/gal to strip LSP, and for maintenance washes Mr. Pink in a foam cannon and Glossworkz in the bucket. Glossworkz smells so good. I just wanna bathe in it.

Wax and shampoo threads are like GEICO commercials at this point.

The Need to Bead
Just tried Duragloss 902...very nice cleaning, smelling, and sudsy soap! Could this be used for a maintenance wash product for coated cars (Cquartz UK)?
I grew up on zip wax car wash. Today I would never use it as I don`t want the wax getting on my coatings. I prefer LSP safe shampoo. I have used a few and they are all good:
1. Poorboys super slick and shine. -Still would purchase, great price and performance
2. Ultima Paint Guard Plus-purchased this when I was using the UPGP and it is concentrated so it lasted longer than the use of UPGP.
3. Lusso Oro wash-The most mild wash I have found to date. I use it on my cars when they are not too dirty and it seems to extend the coatings and it smells great.
Chemical Guys Citrus Wash for stripping wax\sealants
Chemical Guys HoneyDew Snow Foam for wax safe - love the smell and the ridiculous amount of suds...
I already posted some of the stuff I have used in the past and I can tell you that other than smell, I do not think I have used one that ever hurt the LSP or did not remove dirt. Some foam more than others in the bucket and some require more concentrate to get that super slick feeling but its hard to make a mistake in any shampoo you buy in this store or from a reputable company.
I know my mix is heavy and I di this because I hope it cuts down on marring. When it rains, you should see the foam that rises out of my pavers.
Ultima Paint Wash
CG Citrus Red for stripping 1oz per gallon.
Megs gold class.
Some of my Favs are:
Poor Boys SSS: slick, slick, slick. And great suds.
Lusso Oro: see above, even more so.
CGs Honeydew: Best in foam cannon, period.
P21S Soap: very gentle with wax. For when the car is only a little dirty.
Vic`s Super Soap: See above.
Sonax Gloss Enhancing Shampoo: like a real shampoo
1Z Exclusive Gloss: good all around
CGs Citrus Red: aggressive cleaner for filthy cars
Dodo Juice B2B Mild: Good all around.
I have something of a car shampoo jones and I must have tried fifteen or more. I tend to prefer shampoos that don`t have a ton of glossing agents or, god forbid, wax added. My favorites are:
Lusso Oro Auto Bathe
Dodo Juice Born to Be Mild
Prima Hydro Wash
with more in the way of glossing agents
Optimum Car Wash, with Duragloss 901 as a close runner up
Interested in but yet to try
CarPro Reset
Orchard Auto Care Bramley Bubble Bath
Bilt Hamber Auto-Wash
ArtDeShine Nano Shampoo
I use Meg`s Gold Class for my families car, they don`t need any crazy shampoo detailing and I use it with a foam cannon.
When using a foam cannon and two bucket method afterwards is it ok to mix two shampoos? I have CG Glossworkz and was wondering if I should have that in both foam cannon and bucket to take advantage of the affect?
Thanks!

Our highly concentrated, anti-corrosive car shampoo auto-wash has once again, won the best buy award from a top car magazine.
This time it`s Professional Driver who were kind enough to present us with the best buy car wash award, and rating the product 5/5.
Check out the article here on page 38!
9 other car shampoos were tried out in this comprehensive test, which saw some big names get put to shame and some lesser known brands take some glory!
Heres a taster of what the guys at Professional Driver had to say -
"Essex Producer Bilt Hamber just gets the verdict here thanks to the tiny amounts needed and low cost. Remarkably it combines this with a water repellent finish that beads water away. A winning combination."
Auto-wash comes in a 300ml bottle and costs £9.14, this may sound pricey at first glance, but because you only use 5ml per every 10ltr bucket of water, it works out very economical.

My favorite is Chemical Guys Citrus Wash and Gloss
Used PBL Diamond Coating Shampoo this weekend and it worked great. I added a splash of Pinnacle Signature All Purpose Cleaner for extra cleaning power.
