is #83 on a yellow megs polishing pad LSP ready???



reason I asked is because I compared RMG/PG mix with a orange pad /and/ #83 on yellow megs pad



the 83 finished glossier, but removed less defects

the PG/RMG mix removed almost all the defects, but was a little more dull requiring a step down step. 80 did almost nothing with a polishing pad for the defects, just shined!



so is 83.polishing pad lsp ready???

even if it looks good you'd probably end up with better gloss finishing up with a less abrasive polish like #80, Mothers Powerpolish or Optimum

What he said ^^.

PG needs a step down, especially with an orange pad. The RMG will just give it a bit more workability and lower the dusting. You'll notice the additional gloss when mixing RMG with say FPII or 106FF.
