Waterless dri-wash?

Yesterday I detailed a Corvette that get's washed by some mobile guy once per week who supposedly uses a waterless dri-wash...the behicle owner sais he uses about 1/4 of a small spray bottle to spray and wipe the car clean. I told him his car looked like it...I should have asked him if the guy also throws a little sand in the mix for extra cleaning power, cause it was HAMMERED. Though I've never used this stuff, it's gotta be absolute junk. Right?

Yep, junk! My father still want's me to find some for him and I wont even look for it. ;) The "salesman" demonstrate that you can use it on a FILTHY car by just spraying it on and wiping it off. It's just gotta scratch. It's got some serious oils in it that don't even want to wash out of the bottle.

Saw this stuff reviewed by pros on another forum and the overwhelming

consensus is that it is absolutely overhyped by the manufacturer. Doesn't even

come close to doing what it says.

In reality , it's nothing more than a QD with wax.

:) its made in Calgary and the local porsche dealer uses them and they pretty all have really bad DISO
