Work from car show

Yesterday I went to the first annual Mopar Madness car show, their was 400+ cars. all mopars, some drop dead machines. anyway, what I do at shows like this is I set up my show car (PT Turbo Cruiser) and then go walk around and drop fliers in cars. while doing so I talk to owners. One car that caught my eye was a 69 Charger RT (black) that had tons of swirls in it. I gracefully introduced my self to the owner and gave him my card, then pointed out how his car could be improved by having my detail it. He knew about the swirl problem but feared givng the car to just anyone. I guess I convinced him that I coud handle it, because he made an appointment, I love to work shows like that becuase their are SOOOOOOO many opportunities, you would be suprised at how many of these rare show cars have paint defects in them. Perfect Auto Finish, comes to the rescue. :wavey

I too was looking into this type of personal marketing...

did you reserve a space and setup a booth, or just park outside and walk around? did you pass out cards, or flyers?

I have a show car, so I brought it and put it on display than walked the show, talked to owners and past out fliers. sometimes I set up a booth if it is a swap meet. Gary

I do notice alot when I see car shows on TV alot of swirls and defects on the paint. That would be a great idea to somehow get in a show and market my services.
