Easy to apply wax/polymer with a rotary?

what's an inexpensive, OTC wax/polymer that seats the new polish & protects for a long time? This is for a $1100 beater, so I dont need anything fancy.. just something decent from walmart. but i will be using a rotary. thanks

Longevity and WalMart don't exactly go together. I haven't seen anything on the shelf there that would fit that description very well. For bang for the buck you could order 1000P from FK1, or track down some Duragloss 105 from someplace like CarQuest. They cost a little more than most of the stuff at WM, but they're still quite reasonable and you'll wind up saving quite a bit because of the durability they offer. They both look nice, too!

Why are you going to use a rotary for applying wax/sealant? Assuming you are using something easy to apply/remove, is there any benefit over just popping it on/off by hand?

Same question for random orbital as with rotary - what's the point?

Are you considering this route in hopes that you will be able to get the job done more quickly?

If so, I think you'll be disappointed. Unless perhaps you're using some product that is super difficult to remove, but I would think in that case you may just want to use a different product :)
