Wifes car, last polished late march with 106ff.

Seven months of mostly QEW washes with Blue MFs from excel detail:

I had used AJ back in April, in late August I applied a few coats of AJT as it seemed that

the AJ was loosing its slickness somewhat.

After a QEW wash:

Process:

Clayed

Polished hood, roof and trunk with EC/OP mix, white LCD VC pad 1500.

Polished entire car with 106ff/RMG mix green P2 pad 1500.

Polished entire car with P085RD green P2 pad 1400.

(I was informed after that 106ff and 085 finish down about the same. I can verify that I could not tell the difference.)

50/50 wipedown

Z6 wipedown

3x Z5pro w/ ZFX

Z6 after coats 1 and 2

Z8 after final coat

Just got new tires a few weeks ago, applied 2x of Z-16.

After polishing:

wow, hardly any marring/scratches at all for seven months!

There was some slight swirling, it was hard to capture. I can't complain at all about QEW.

I had taken this closer pic

Was discussing the small "pocks" in this thread

Superb work! :)

Nice to see that further proof that proper rinseless washing is very paint friendly.

One thing though...how do you live with those wheels on a daily basis?

Thanks Scott!

Poorboys SnR every 2-3 weeks. :chuckle: They are a PITA expecially with the stock pads. Might have to go with some low dust pads when they need changed.

Nice work Bryan.

Did the Z5PRO help at all with the etching?

You're definitely ready for the winter with Z5PRO x 3, Z8 and QEW. :D

Thanks!

I never checked after to see if the marks are still noticeable.

Yes the winters are so harsh here in the south. :spit:
